Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 3, 2026

1. Introduction

Nosana Foundation ("Nosana," "we," "us," or "our") provides the Nosana GPU compute network, together with our website (the "Site"), applications, and other services (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Services.

Please read it carefully so you understand how we handle your information. Our contact and registered-address details are in Section 13.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Personal Data

We may collect personally identifiable information that you voluntarily provide to us, including:

  • Contact Information: Name, email address, and any other information you provide when signing up for newsletters, submitting support requests, or contacting us.
  • Account Information: Wallet address and transaction identifiers when you interact with the Services (e.g., staking, providing GPUs, or deploying workloads).
  • Communications: Information you provide when you participate in surveys, community calls, or correspond with our support team.

We do not currently carry out identity verification (KYC).

2.2 Automatic Data

When you visit our Site, we may automatically collect certain information, including:

  • Usage Data: Pages visited, time spent on pages, referring/exit pages, and clickstream data.
  • Device Data: Browser type, operating system, IP address, and device type.
  • Analytics: We use Google Analytics (GA4) to collect aggregated usage statistics. This data is anonymized where possible.

2.3 Blockchain Data

Parts of the Services run on the Solana blockchain. Certain information — including host and client wallet addresses, job transaction hashes, and staking transactions — is recorded on that public blockchain. The blockchain is public by design and is not controlled by us: we can view on-chain records but cannot alter or delete them. Any data recorded on-chain should be treated as permanent and publicly accessible.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Services.
  • To send you technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support messages.
  • To respond to your comments, questions, and requests.
  • To monitor and analyze usage trends and user behavior.
  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.

We only use personal data where we have a proper basis to do so under applicable law — for example because you have agreed, because it is needed to provide the Services you have asked for, because we have a legitimate business interest, or because the law requires it. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as Google Analytics) to collect information about your browsing activities. Some cookies are essential to run the Site; others, such as analytics, are used only where you consent. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings, though some features may not work if you disable them. We do not use cookies for targeted advertising.

Our analytics provider, Google Analytics, uses cookies to help us understand how visitors use the Site. You can learn more about Google's privacy practices at policies.google.com/privacy.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf (e.g., hosting, analytics, email delivery), under appropriate confidentiality terms.
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — we will notify you of any change in ownership.

Anything you post in public or community channels (for example Discord, Telegram, or X) may be visible to others and is outside this Policy. Information recorded on the Solana blockchain is public by design and accessible to anyone; this is inherent to the Services and cannot be removed by us.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your account credentials and private keys confidential.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by applicable law. When we no longer need your data, we will delete or anonymize it. Note that data recorded on the Solana blockchain is permanent and cannot be deleted by us, even after you stop using the Services.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal obligations. Please note we cannot delete information already recorded on the Solana blockchain, which is outside our control.
  • Objection: Object to the processing of your personal data for certain purposes.
  • Data Portability: Request transfer of your data to another service provider.
  • Withdraw Consent: Where we rely on your consent, withdraw it at any time, and opt out of marketing.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority for your area.

9. International Data Transfers

We operate globally, and your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. Where required by applicable law, we put appropriate safeguards in place for those transfers.

10. Third-Party Links

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., Discord, X, GitHub, explorer, stake, governance platforms). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal data.

11. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
