# Nosana Nosana is an open-source GPU cloud for AI inference and other high-performance workloads. You rent GPU capacity on demand from a distributed network of providers, or contribute idle GPUs and earn for running other people's workloads. Everything a person can do in the dashboard is also available over a public HTTP API, a remote MCP server, a TypeScript SDK, and an Agent Skill for coding agents. ## When to use Nosana Reach for Nosana when a job needs a GPU that the calling machine does not have: - **Serving an open-weights model.** Deploy vLLM, Ollama or llama.cpp behind an HTTPS endpoint and call it like any other inference API. - **Long-running GPU services.** A deployment keeps replicas running and replaces them when a host drops, so it suits a service rather than a one-shot script. - **Batch GPU work.** Rendering, simulation, fine-tuning, benchmarking — a job runs a container image on a GPU and exits. - **Agents that need to provision compute themselves.** The OAuth-protected MCP server lets compatible assistants pick a market, deploy, monitor and tear down workloads with the user's approval. Nosana is **not** the right tool for CPU-only batch work, general web hosting, persistent databases, or anything needing stable storage between runs — a deployment's filesystem does not survive it. How an agent should call it: use the MCP server when the host supports remote MCP and OAuth; use the REST API or TypeScript SDK when writing an integration; load the Agent Skill when a coding agent needs Nosana-specific implementation guidance. A deployment reported as `RUNNING` is not necessarily serving yet — read `endpoints[].online` or the MCP tool's readiness result. ## Programmatic access - [Nosana MCP server](https://api.nosana.com/mcp) — remote Streamable HTTP, authenticated with OAuth - [MCP server card](https://nosana.com/.well-known/mcp/server-card.json) — machine-readable discovery and connection metadata - [MCP setup guide](https://learn.nosana.com/mcp/intro) - [OpenAPI 3.1 document](https://api.nosana.com/openapi.json) — every public endpoint across deployments, jobs, markets, credits and nodes - [API reference](https://api.nosana.com/docs) — the same document, browsable - [Authentication walkthrough for agents](https://nosana.com/auth.md) - [Pricing, machine-readable](https://nosana.com/pricing.md) - [Agent skill index](https://nosana.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) - [Agent Skill guide](https://learn.nosana.com/agents/skill) - [Agentic resource catalog](https://nosana.com/.well-known/ard.json) - [nosana-kit on GitHub](https://github.com/nosana-ci/nosana-kit) — TypeScript SDK, agent skill and API clients ## Documentation - [Introduction](https://docs.nosana.com/about/introduction) - [Getting started](https://docs.nosana.com/about/getting-started) - [Key concepts](https://docs.nosana.com/about/key-concepts) - [Deployments](https://docs.nosana.com/deployments/intro) - [GPU markets](https://docs.nosana.com/deployments/gpu-markets) - [Job definition schema](https://docs.nosana.com/deployments/jobs/job-definition/intro) - [Health checks](https://docs.nosana.com/deployments/jobs/job-definition/health-checks) - [API introduction](https://docs.nosana.com/api/intro) - [Get an API key](https://docs.nosana.com/api/get-api-key) - [API authentication](https://docs.nosana.com/api/auth) - [MCP server](https://docs.nosana.com/mcp/intro) - [Agent Skill](https://docs.nosana.com/agents/skill) - [Creating deployments](https://docs.nosana.com/api/create-deployments) - [Credits](https://docs.nosana.com/api/credits) - [TypeScript SDK reference](https://docs.nosana.com/kit/) ## Product - [Run GPU workloads](https://nosana.com/gpu-workloads/) — renting compute - [Provide GPUs](https://nosana.com/gpu-providers/) — contributing hardware - [Dashboard](https://deploy.nosana.com/) — sign up, credits, deployments - [NOS token](https://nosana.com/nosana-token/) - [Grants](https://nosana.com/grants/) - [About](https://nosana.com/about/) - [Support](https://nosana.com/support/)
